For this commission I completed wainscoting, work in the bathrooms and in the kitchen of a Herne Bay villa. For the wainscoting work I completed picture frame style wainscoting that somebody else had left incomplete. The wainscoting has been added to the hallway, bathroom, living rooms, kitchen and dining room. In addition to the wainscoting, mouldings were added to the ceiling of the kitchen and dining room. The home had an extension done in the 90’s that didn’t include any of the detailing present in the rest of the villa, as a consequence it didn’t fit well with the rest of the house in terms of design. Adding the wainscoting throughout added back the missing detail in the extension as well as fitting nicely in the original areas of the house. Mouldings were also added to the kitchen doors and drawer fronts to bring them in line with the design aesthetic.
