It features round tapered legs handmade on the lathe with brass ferrules on the bottom of the legs.

Entrance Table - Reclaimed Rimu
1/4
This entrance table was constructed from a reclaimed rimu roof joist taken out of the client’s home as part of a renovation.
2/4
The nail holes in the timber bear witness to its former life as a roof joist. These holes have been filled with a clear epoxy.
3/4
Mitered saddle joints have been used on the top corners of the table. These provide a beautiful and strong joint. The end grain seen on the top and side show how this joint comes together.
4/4
The top and bottom shelf of the table have a doweled mortice and tenon joint. The ends of the three dowels used on each joint are visible on the bottom right of the above photo.
