A timeless shaker style was chosen for this mantel, finished in a spray-painted alabaster colour.
Mantel Modification

For this mantel I added in additional pieces as a new gas fireplace had been installed which was a different size to the old one.
Solid Rimu Mantel

This solid rimu mantel was done as part of the built-in cabinets and bookcases I also did.

It is finished in a hard-wax oil with the simple design allowing the beautiful grain in the rimu to be the real feature.
